According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association (CCMIA), major loader manufacturers sold 10,832 units in August 2026, representing a 14.7% year-on-year increase.
Of the total:
- Domestic sales: 5,421 units, up 13.6% year-on-year
- Exports: 5,411 units, up 16% year-on-year
- Electric loaders sold domestically: 3,056 units
- Electric loader exports: 476 units
The figures show balanced growth across both domestic and overseas markets, while electric loaders continued to account for a substantial share of sales in China.
January–August Sales Rise 25.8%
From January to August 2026, cumulative loader sales reached 104,658 units, an increase of 25.8% year-on-year.
Sales breakdown for the first eight months:
- Domestic sales: 52,587 units, up 17%
- Exports: 52,071 units, up 36.1%
- Domestic electric loader sales: 30,480 units
- Electric loader exports: 2,575 units
Exports remained one of the strongest growth drivers, with overseas sales rising significantly faster than domestic demand.
Electric Loaders Continue to Gain Ground
Electric loaders are becoming increasingly important in China’s construction machinery market. In the domestic market, more than half of loader sales during the January–August period were electric models.
This reflects growing demand for lower-emission construction equipment in applications such as ports, mines, steel mills, logistics yards, and other high-utilization environments where electrification can help reduce operating costs.
With both exports and electrification maintaining strong momentum, China’s loader market continued its solid expansion through the first eight months of 2026.
