On September 17, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) opened in Nanning, where LiuGong showcased eight representative machines covering electric construction equipment, industrial vehicles, and agricultural machinery.
The company also presented intelligent technologies including an on-board AI Assistant and an MR remote virtual training system, highlighting its expanding portfolio of green and digital solutions for diverse operating scenarios.
On the first day of the exhibition, a delegation led by Zhang Zhuang, Party Secretary of Liuzhou, visited the LiuGong booth. Senior LiuGong executives accompanied the visit and introduced the company’s latest products and technologies.

New Energy Equipment for Diverse Applications
At this year’s CAEXPO, LiuGong presented three major electric machines: the 856TE electric wheel loader, 922FE electric excavator, and DW105AE electric mining truck.
Together, they cover key applications including loading, excavation, and heavy-duty mine haulage.
856TE Electric Wheel Loader
The 856TE is equipped with LiuGong’s proprietary battery system, a high-speed electric motor, and a continuously variable transmission.
The machine is designed to deliver efficient operation, reliable performance, and fast energy replenishment for demanding working environments.
922FE Electric Excavator
The 922FE adopts a fully electronically controlled hydraulic system, with an emphasis on:
- High operating efficiency
- Reduced energy consumption
- Lower maintenance requirements
- Intelligent equipment management
The electric powertrain also supports quieter, lower-emission operation in construction and industrial applications.
DW105AE Electric Mining Truck
The DW105AE features a 500 kW dual-motor system, a four-speed transmission, and regenerative braking technology.
The combination provides strong power for heavy-load transportation while recovering energy during operation to improve overall efficiency.
Industrial Vehicles and Agricultural Machinery
In addition to construction and mining equipment, LiuGong displayed three industrial vehicles: the CPD180, CBD25, and CDD20.
These machines are designed for material handling and warehousing applications.
The company also showcased the S918 sugarcane harvester and LT3504-CE hybrid tractor, extending its product coverage into sugarcane harvesting, precision agriculture, and other agricultural operations.
The diverse lineup demonstrates how LiuGong is applying electrification and intelligent technologies across a broader range of industries.

AI Assistant Brings Intelligence to Equipment Operation
LiuGong’s on-board AI Assistant integrates large AI models with edge computing technology to provide intelligent support throughout equipment operation.
Its functions include:
- Facial recognition
- Start-up health checks
- Operator behavior analysis
- Fault diagnosis
- Maintenance recommendations
By integrating these capabilities directly into equipment, the system can support safer operation, faster troubleshooting, and more efficient equipment management.
MR Remote Training Enables Cross-Border Support
LiuGong also demonstrated its MR remote virtual classroom, which combines mixed reality with 3D visualization technology.
The system supports multiple users operating simultaneously and communicating through real-time voice interaction.
It can be used for:
- Equipment delivery training
- Remote technical instruction
- Cross-regional service training
- International customer support
- High-risk operation simulation
This approach can help reduce practical training costs while providing a safer and more flexible method for technical education and equipment familiarization.

Strengthening Cooperation with ASEAN Markets
From electric construction machinery to AI-powered equipment management and MR training, LiuGong continues to advance the green and intelligent development of its products and services.
Through CAEXPO, the company aims to deepen communication with customers and partners across ASEAN markets and provide more localized equipment and solutions for the region’s diverse operating requirements.
By combining electrification, intelligent technology, and application-focused engineering, LiuGong is strengthening its role in supporting a greener and more efficient future for construction, mining, logistics, and agriculture.
